Bafta Film Awards 2025 winners list: Conclave triumphs over The Brutalist

The Bafta 2025 film awards proved to be another night of bad jokes (sorry, David Tennant), beautiful dresses and surprising victories. Hosted by Tennant at the Royal Festival Hall, the ceremony included a cheesy Take That performance, greatly deserved wins for Conclave, The Brutalist and A Real Pain, and largely went by without controversy or drama.

Mikey Madison beat off tough competition from favourite Demi Moore to scoop Best Actress for Anora, while Adrien Brody won his first Bafta for Leading Actor for The Brutalist; the latter’s director, Brady Corbet, also won that award.

But the evening’s two biggest awards, Best Film and Outstanding British Film, both went to Conclave, Edward Berger’s pacy papal thriller. Could it now have the Oscars’ big awards in its sights?

Below is the full list of winners.
