- 5 laps to go. Christopher Bell wrecked from the front of the outside row and collected Ryan Preece who, for the second time in his career at Daytona has gone airborne.
- Bell’s and Preece’s window nets were down almost immediately, an encouraging sign.
- Eight to go. Austin Cindric needs to hold off a pair of strong JGR cars to retain this.
- Lap 186. The big one strikes and it takes out the two best cars of the night in Joey Logano and Ryan Blaney, among others.
