ATLANTA β A line of intense storms has moved across metro Atlanta and parts of west Georgia early Sunday morning in the 4 a.m.-5 a.m. hours.
The system has generated tornado warnings across numerous counties southwest and southeast of Atlanta, and brough Severe Thunderstorm Warnings, heavy winds and rains to the City of Atlanta and inner metro.
That included a gust of 70mph that was recorded at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
This has all left thousands without power. Here’s an overview:
- Fulton County: 53,403 customers
- DeKalb County: 23,758 customers
- Clayton County: 19,357 customers
- Henry County: 8,345 customers
- Cobb County: 5,335 customers
- Gwinnett County: 4,244 customers

- Metro Atlanta: 97,420 outages
- North Georgia: 2,198 outages
- West Georgia: 18,754 outages
