Prior to opening a five-game road swing, the Golden State Warriors handled business at home on Tuesday night with the shorthanded Charlotte Hornets in town. With players like LaMelo Ball and Brandon Miller sidelined, the Warriors powered past the Hornets on the way to a dominant 128-92 blowout win at Chase Center on Tuesday.
Six different members of the Warriors scored in double figures as they secured their fourth-straight win. Their current four-game winning streak is their second longest of the season and marks the first time they’ve won four straight games since November.
Buddy Hield led the Warriors in scoring off the bench, tallying 16 points on 6-of-11 shooting from the field with four made 3-pointers in 20 minutes.
Draymond Green stuffed the box score with 15 points, six rebounds, six assists, three steals and two blocks in 23 minutes against the Hornets. Steph Curry added 15 points and finished with a team-high +26.
New Warrior Kevin Knox II tallied 12 points in 15 minutes off the bench with two made 3-pointers to go along with five rebounds and four assists in his third game with Golden State. Knox also provided the highlight of the night with a high-flying alley-oop dunk in the fourth quarter.
The Warriors will have a chance to match their season-high win streak with a win over the Orlando Magic when Golden State opens its road swing on Thursday.
